Bentley is an AKC Greyhound whose family had a change in life circumstances. They entrusted this precious boy to us with the promise that we will find him a wonderful forever home.
If Bentley can’t bring a smile to your face, then your face doesn’t go into “Smile Mode”! He has some of the most hilarious antics. Bentley may be 8 years old, but he is living proof that age is just a number. He has all the fun and enthusiasm of a puppy, but without any behavior or training issues.

He is a perfect gentleman in the house. His potty training is perfect and he minds his manners in all aspects of house living. He will let his human know when he needs to go out by whining at the door.

He adores people and it shows. You can count on a warm welcome from Bentley whenever you visit him.He does well with dog savvy children age 6 or older. He is fine with small dogs and enjoys the company of two other Greyhounds and a Jack Russell Terrier in his foster home. Bentley is much too curious with cats so his forever home would need to be kitty free.
Bentley loves human furniture and greatly enjoys a nap in the recliner or on the couch. He also adores snuggling with his human in the bed.
About the only thing Bentley finds disagreeable is that silly contraption that humans call the vacuum cleaner. He sees no sense in all that infernal noise. “What’s the harm in a little dirt?” he says.
Bentley can sit on command and will also play fetch. He enjoys toys and plays like a puppy.
He does not require a crate. His foster mom has allowed him to stay out in the house when she leaves and he has been perfectly polite.
Bentley may not look like a traditional Greyhound, but don’t pass him by! This boy has stolen all of our volunteers’ hearts. You just can’t resist him, guaranteed! Why not come see for yourself?
